    No

Utd do ok with the debt they have

We just need to get this stadium built and renamed and then start being successful again. We may not need to loan money then

I'm just trying to look at it with open eyes.
No offence fella, but open your eyes then.

United make a shed load of money which makes their debts easier to manage. At the moment I could imagine that despite their desperate measures, that they would do fine with the current debt.

But, we need an extra £300m fo the stadium. H+G combined don't have the cash for this, never mind Hicks on his own! He is hardly super rich, and lets not forget already owns the Dallas Stars ice hockey team and the Texas Rangers baseball team. Now as Hicks doesn't care about "soccer" I'm guessing as a sports fan he would be more inclined to make one of those teams successful.

As a business man I would say investment in LFC represents best value for money for Hicks. I hope he has his business head on because after an initial splurge with the cash at both teams he's since spent next to **** all.

When Hicks brought in Rodriguez on a record contract for the Rangers I'm sure many fans were conned (maybe like you) into thinking that Hicks wuld back the club all the way. Think again Bucko. He don't have the cash.

He could loan it I guess but that is simply going down the Leeds avenue and we all know what happened there.
    Forwards.......

Was it really just about the cash with him, if it was he's no better than these clowns he saddled us with.

Hicks will be the sole owner of the club by the end of this month whether we like it or not anyway.

He's a stubborn fella and DIC wont pay the money he wants so that's that, imho.

He has ideas that we'll be worth £1bn in a few years and he's basing his valuation of the club on future potential by the look of things. DIC are obviously basing their valuation on the club as it is now.

I can't see either budging from their current position and we just have to accept whatever happens unfortunately.

              good reply thanks.

Why cant we make money like Utd? Apart from the obvious bums on seats issue which is where the new stadium comes in.

I read that Hicks was selling some of his franchises in USA. Is this true. Could that help fund the takeover?

As for Moores. I truly think he was a poor businessman and panicked.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He is trying to float all his sports teams on the stock market I think
I think he cannot sell LFC before that is done, cause LFC is the main asset there

I have no idea if he wants to do actually. the man is a riddle.
I hope he is just posturing now though.

Lec put these up on another site, they claim to be from someone who works for DIC. Not sure if true, and couldn't see if it had already been posted or not.

Anyway make of it what you will.

Thank you all for having the time in reading my previous post. I did state that i will not be back here giving information on the 'suppose deal' regarding DIC and Liverpool Directors.

DIC has not fully finalised any deal for the whoesale purchase of Liverpool Football Club at present.

But important changes have come into effect as of today at DIC and i can conclude that DIC will purchase Liverpool Football Club within 3 weeks assuming the legal and financial package can be 100% agreed.

Mr R Benitez will still be Manager and will be given backing from the board. A Football Technical Director will also be employed as a bridge between the Team and the Board.

I hope this relationship with DIC and Liverpool Football Fans can be a successful one.

                          Fellow Reds

I did post some important information one week ago but it was taken off before anyone could read it. Gripes & Moans? i did not realise that giving information was a moan?

Today news has spread in my office that George Gillett has already signed agreement to sell his 49.98% share of Liverpool Fottball Club.

Contrary to reports about Tom Hicks not selling, this information i have recieved does seem to be the case.

DIC is in the business to win and succeed. We will help the present Manager and staff to make the club more sucessful on and off the pitch.

                          Hello Fellow Reds

Thank you for writing to my inbox regarding information regarding the DIC takeover for the wholesale purchase of Liverpool Football Club.

49.98% x 2 owned by the two American partners and now ready to be signed over to DIC International Trading Group. .04% is owned by a thrid party which i am not able to divulge at this time of writing.

This sale is very close within the next 48hrs to be Totally signed off. We have a few minor issues regarding the Trade price of shares between the current owners.

I conclude that Liverpool Football Club will be in DIC ownership by the weekend.

Thank you all again for you messages to DIC and also to my inbox. I hope to see Liverpool Football Club become one of the best run sporting clubs in the world.

Well its clear their marketing plan is better than ours. Something which the owners looked to rectify.

The stadium, if built will provide us with monies.

                            Is that the right answer?

He just want out, that is his first priority. His second is to sell to DIC but he can't do that if Hicks matches the offer from DIC, so back to priority one, he want out.
