Isn't this maybe a case of someone adding another little twist to the tale just to keep the story afloat?
Bloody hope so. What a day it's been for releases of information though, one after the other, like clockwork, 'He' say's this, 'They' say that. Or someone close to the situation does, but it's delicate they say.
I am sorry but i cannot see DIC taking only 49% after spending almost 2 years trying to buy the club. I think DIC have found the loop hole and i think Hicks will sell up later on.

Yeah! That sounds more like it
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.
If these reports are true, could it be that DIC see Hicks as a semi-competent business man with a solid financial backing, and it was Gillett, not Hicks, that forced us to go so far down the financing route?
Just speculating. Heck, if the press and gutter rags can do it, why can't I?
DIC must probably believe that the credit crunch will get even worse and is prepared to wait Hicks out.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I'm no business expert but if DIC have 49% and Hicks has 51% does that make a huge difference? Does it equate to more seats on the board for Hicks? IMO once they get their foot in the door they can then begin the process of investing capital and diluting hicks shares. They will probably keep Parry and Moores onboard to get the majority vote in the boardroom.

Hicks will be the one that will have the final say in everything so DIC wouldn't be able to invest a lot of capital and diluting Hicks shares if Hicks don't agree with it.
