Why are there so many fish puns?!Originally posted by Rashid View PostIs this true? Anyone seen this?
Tom Hicks’ ownership of Liverpool Football Club was today left floundering as his business partner, Mr George Gill, agreed to sell his skate in the club to DIC. It was only the scale of the investment which was left to be decided.
Hick’s carping in the press and his refusal to allow DIC a 50% share led DIC spokesperson Amanda Staveley to call him shellfish.
She said, “Now we have knocked Hicks off his perch. The craberet is over. There is no plaice for Mr Hicks in Liverpool Football Club. His portfolio is purely a bass kit of junk bonds. He has fed the press red herrings but now we have a ray of hope.
The news warmed the cockles of Liverpool fans who gave the news their seal of approval.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
