what the opinion on Robben's fall in the box? Everyone seems to think it was a foul and should have been a pen, but I'm not convinces

As i just said in the general forum, Andy Gray might be a biased tool, but he tells it like it is when he's doing his bit on 'the last word'. He did say last week that we could have had 3 pens against the ****e, and generaly speaks favourably of us when he's doing that prog.

He spoke a lot of sense tonight on that programme.

The stat that Rafa has never played the same team twice in the 90 games he has manages us is astounding! I knew he like to change things but that seems a little excessive!

I hope he gets that out of his system soon and starts playing our strongest side, regardless of the opposition.

he heard that stat off ian darke who is becoming really annoying in his commentary and wants to stick to boxing today it took alan smith to notice it was ballack and not momo who had been sent off

yeah i heard that one about Rafa and it shocked me, OK last season with all champs league qualifiers a rotation system based on fitness levels is acceptable but it did shock me i must admit. what was Rafa's policy at Valencia if it was the same expect more of the same I'm afraid.

I just don't think it works. I may be wrong but I don't think any of our main rivals - Chelsea, Man U, or Arsanel, or any of the other Premiership teams for that matter, use such a policy.

If it was such a good idea, wouldn't it be more widespread?

darke was annoying me too today, hangover didnt help but his droning on about the goal over and over was driving me mad plus as you said when he was saying momo was off.

I hate all of their commentary. They seem to spend more time having a little chat than commentating on what is going on on the pitch. It's nearly as bad as Channel 5's and that's saying something!

Rafa's rotation has worked so far.

I just think we are struggling a little with form in key areas. Thought Pennant was poor today, too many times he got into excellent positions and his final ball was poor.

i agree with you mate, my worry is the players temperaments you can bet your life the press will have a field day on Rafa's rotation policy falsely quoting players and such, the answer is results if we start winning the players left out will have no argument and just want to be part of a winning side the other scenario i don't like to think about.

The commentary today was ****e. We were watching the match in a pub and "Bring back Andy Gray" chant was started at the beginning of the second half..

It also was the first time we have seen Blue****e supporters in Slovenia. They were actually supporting Liverpool

Thought Robbie Earl was an absolute joke today, I don't know his history but what does he have against us. every time I see him on ITV he has something negative to say about us and today he just sounded stupid.

Said the Ballack incident should only have been a yellow, as well as few pearlers which I can't quite recall now. Will write them down if i remember them.
