I know I have made some cooments about Mr Moores but I am go to say it is too early to have knee-jerk reactions regarding Rafa Benitez getting the sack, lets give him till christmas and judge him then. It is worrying when we have our best squad in 16 years to win the title and we have near to know hope of winning it.

I never agreed with the signings of Craig Bellamy or Jemaine Penant,but you only get these type of players because of the financial situation. If Rafa had a proper budget to spend we would have probably have got a 20 a goal striker Ie. Fernando Toores or David Villa and Daniel Alves.


We need investment to help us strenghten to a degree that like for today we have chances someone will put them away. What is the point of having a new stadium at the moment based on the results to date making it hard to seld it out.

Lets hope Rafa can turn it around otherwise I would then question him continuing in his position as Liverpool Manager.

To be fair that's only one post, I've seen some positive threads on there too, and there's less of the Pennant bashing too.

The Pennant bashing is a bit un-called for IMHO and I'm surprised that some people have decided to jump on his back today.

Animal, really, what's so wrong with this post? All the poster is saying is that with a bigger budget we could have bought (supposedly) better players. A lot of people have suggested that failure to get a fee for Cisse was the reason we went for Bellamy instead of [insert name of preferred expensive striker] and Pennant is firmly believed to have been at best second choice behind Alves who we didn't manage to get (for whatever reason, maybe an extra million or two would have made the difference). He/she then says that without being able to buy the players he wants Rafa will choose to leave sooner rather than later.

Now, I don't agree with the implication that Pennant and Bellamy have already proved themselves as not good enough and I don't think all hope of the title is gone (although let's face it, it's a lot harder now than it looked immediately after the Charity Shield). However, I really don't think it's the stupidest LFC post I've read on here or on Koptalk; in fact I don't think it's even a candidate for top 100 stupidest LFC posts.

Am I missing something here?

The OP is suggesting that we judge Rafa at xmas this year and then decide whether to sack him or not.

It isn't even worthy of the traffic it has had so far, and should be just shot down with immediate effect.
