Obviously this is the most speculative of speculations though

I was just extremely disappointed that given the very limited opportunities afforded to him early season he did very little to seize them. He did seem to be ambling about in a kind of non-purposeful manner as well. I just drew my own conclusions from that.

I think he has been much improved since the Arsenal game in Oct when he came on at Half-time. And credit to him for that.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If being rubbish is a sign of a bad attitude, then Kuyt has the worst attitude i've ever seen.

Nothing wrong with being speculative, it's what's this place is all about

Yeah I agree, certainly was off the boil earlier in the season for whatever reason, but like you say, we weren't really playing to his strengths. Thing is, he looked somewhat indifferent as well, and was meandering a bit.

New Contract = bigger pay off to Crouchy if we sell

Wouldn't see the point in giving him a new deal if we were going to sell him anyways.

Although hopefully this sould mean Rafa would rather keep him instead of Kuyt and Voronin....Well i can dream can't i

For everyone who rubbishes Crouch and says we should get rid or that he's not Liverpool quality, the fact is we are unlikely to sign more than two (first team squad) strikers in the summer, which means we have to keep Torres + one other regardless of what role/how often they'll play next year. I'd certainly rather that be Crouch than Kuyt or Voronin, because I actually rate him
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

For me, he missess too many decent chances inside the box.

He is good enough to be a good option to have but we need a better player with Torres upfront.

I don't know if that is good enough for Crouch and that is probably what it all will come down to.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

would do as third or better again 4th choice, but that would mean getting in two more strikers and supposing we sell kuyt and veronin.

would personally like to see him out
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

If you were Peter Crouch, would you want to sign a new contract?

in the absence of a Man U, Arsenal or CHelsea being interested in me, or a CL club from the continent, then yes, I would.

Say for arguments sake, Rafa decided to get rid of Kuyt (who he still favours regardless of his ****eness) and Voronin in the summer and brought in two quality replacements.

This would mean Crouch will be relegated to fourth choice.

If he has any sense, he would realise whatever happens, his chances will always be limited here now and in the future.

Like Defoe at Spurs, I'm sure there will come a time when he has enough of sitting on the bench and wants to play football.

I don't see why Rafa needs four strikers to be honest. I'd be very content with Torres, 'An Other Top Class' and Crouch.

He hardly plays two out and out strikers anyways.

I'd be very happy if we kept hold of Crouch and lost Kuyt and Voronin.

Did Crouch not refuse to sign a contract at the start of the season? I think this might be why he wasnt played to much, maybe he has decided his future is at Anfield now.

We should sell him IMO.He is an ok player.Thought we were going to clear out the likes of Crouch and try bring top players in.Who will be offered new deals next?Pennant,Kewell,Riise etc.
I know Crouch has alot of fans but I dont think he is good enough to be at this club.
He is wasteful and has no pace.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
