Team against Newcastle

Who do you think will start against Newcastle? Will rafa use Fowler and Crouch in attack again? Fowler didnt even make the bench today and Crouch was a sub. They've both got fresh legs. Will we see Gonzalez on the left? He didnt play today=fresh legs.
IMO we should continue playing Bellamy and Kuyt. And at Anfield I'd like to see 2 proper wingers, Pennant and Gonzalez. In the middle I'd play Gerrard and Sissoko. In defence I'd play Agger and Carra. Aurelio would get my vote at left back because its a home game and he's better going forward than Warnock.

I'd go with that too. IMO we need a bit of consistency in team selection, that would only be one change (and Pennant really hasn't been that great and played 2 full games this week)

I agree, we need consistency in team selection. I dont agree we should try a new system though.

You can be attack minded and play 4-4-2. I dont think its a good idea to change the system.

But the current system isn't exactly firing on all cylinders, and we are extremely weak on the left at going forward.

rafa would never play with 3 at the back and no wing backs...

i think 442 with either alonso and gerrard in midfield or alonso sissoko midfield and gerrard on the right...

i recon crouch and kuyt or bellamy wil be up front, robbie on the bench

IMO, when things dont work, you go back to the basics. Things do work though. We were the best team today, but didnt get what we deserved. No need to change much. Just need to score on our chanses.

Except with Kewell and Riise out, Speedy and Aurelio maybe not ready for the English game yet and Zenden being a bit poor, if the option is playing Gerrard on the left or changing the system a little to get our best players in their best positions, I know what I'd choose to do....
