I think that we have a Raul situation, one player that is making the decisions instead of the manager when it suits him. The player I'm talking about is Gerrard.

We started to play bad football after Rafa took him off against Everton. Everyone remembers the disgraceful way he acted when he realized that he was the one that would go off.

It's either Rafa or Stevie out IMO.

I think I have more faith in SG's ability to change a game than our managers at the moment.

I can see where robster and jonny are coming from and I really, really wanna keep Rafa....and we know that he has got the skills and is one of the worlds great managers.....but something is wrong, really wrong.......I think is over reliance on ****e is causing his downfall EXACTLy like houiller.

IF anyone could turn it round its Rafa he has the fans support (not for to much longer me thinks) and if the clearout started now, some youngsters were put in and rafa admitted mistakes and ensured the likes of riise and kuyt werent regulars perhaps and jsut perhaps things are salvagable.

To be fair I've been pretty pissed off with some of that this season too, but being upset when the team repeatedly plays badly, gets knocked out of the FA cup by a lower league side, and looks to be going backwards at the moment, does not make people bad fans. They might be wrong, but at what point are you saying that it is justified to get seriously pissed off about what is now and string of poor performances that have been going on for several months?

It was a very strange decision, but I remember reading an article recently where Babel said he was still getting used to the pace and ferocity of the English game. He's only a kid after all.

For £10-£13m, we should be getting more I think. I know he has talent, but his decision making is very poor at times & he does seem to lose the ball an awful lot.

I think he might be really good, but I'd hoped for more at that price. We cannot afford to spunk £16m on journeymen unlike the Scum.

So what if he has finished above Arsenal? How far has he finished off the top? That's more important.

each to their own opinion but there is no way i'd sell gerard...he's the only player who can grab a game by the scruff of the neck and win it for us (remember 2005 istanbul and 2006 fa cup final)
