Exact same type situation as Babel who could very well end up as a striker also
Thierry Daniel Henry (pronounced [tjɛʀi ɑ̃ˈʀi], born 17 August 1977) is a French football player. Renowned for his pace, goal scoring record and ability to create assists, he plays as a striker for the France national team and FC Barcelona.

Henry was born and brought up in the tough neighbourhood of Les Ulis, Essonne—a suburb of Paris—where he played for an array of local sides as a youngster and showed great promise as a goal-scorer. He was spotted by AS Monaco in 1990 and signed instantly, making his professional debut in 1994. Good form led to an international call-up in 1998, after which, he signed for the Italian defending champions Juventus. He had a disappointing season playing on the wing, before joining Arsenal for £10.5 million in 1999

Ryan Guno Babel (born 19 December 1986 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch professional football player who currently plays for Liverpool. He is right footed and plays as a striker or a left winger. He has been a member of the Netherlands national football team since 2005.

He's been a left winger since he joined us. Until then he's been a striker.

You need to get your facts straight.

No, I'm not, but responding in kind, in fact, responding with a considerably increased volume of abuse, is hardly the way to prove them wrong or take the moral high-ground.

Eh exactly as I said. He plays as a striker and in his earlier years he played as a winger. You may have wanted to bold the "for france and barcelona bit Give up.

So he was a winger then? That's where Wenger played him when he bought him, but then moved him up top. Babel is a striker who gets played on the wing

            Thanks for proving yourself incorrect

Sorry mate but you're also incorrect!

Babel started as a winger (could play right or left) and occasionally played down the centre.

He will probably end up as a striker though.

He played as a striker his whole career, until Juventus unsuccessfully tried him on the wing for a year. He was so bad they decided to sell to Arsenal, where Wenger made him a hit in that position.

You clearly know nothing about football.

You made the same error with Babel.

I'd hazard a guess that you;'ve neve seen a dutch of french league match in your life yet you think you're qualified for a PHD in both.

In fact, could you even tell me without checking google what thos leagues are called?

                          I doubt it.

EDIT: If you're dutch, this obviously can't be true but what it does say is that you are even thicker than I thought!
