I totally agree,as i`ve said in this thread.
DJS will still manage to stick to the line that if the players play badly it`s Rafa`s fault and not the players.
I saw Rafa giong nuts on the sideline against Barnsley and the players didn`t react.

But it's the same players, playing ****e over and over...yet, he keeps picking them. If he dropped them like he should they wouldnt have the CHANCE to play ****e, would they?

I'm not saying he should win the title. Staying in the race beyond Dec-January would be a decent start. And finishing 4th without a struggle would be decent too. Not to mention being able to beat lower division sides with the comfort that we should be beating them by.

no-one disagrees with that. WHat they are saying is that you claim it is all down to Rafa and that replacing him would solve all the problems. Everyone else is just saying, it's a little more complicated than that and signing up JM is no panacea

Wouldn't be that many players left. We simply don't have a big enough squad to do it. Another point is that if Rafa dropped them and we lost the game then he would be sacked the next day.

I can't see our board backing Rafa in the same way as the Valencia board have backed Koeman.

rafa has comfortably achieved top 3 status the last 2 years with his limited (compared to manu/chavs) budget, and he still gets constant abuse for the way he achieves these goals.

under moores we may of lacked ultimate financial clout but with that settled boardroom rafa (with rotation) got fantastic results so its more than fair to predict that with supreme backing those goals should include the league.

with dic incharge a mas cull of all the mediocre players that rafa was either forced to buy due to financial limitations or was left over from GH reign, and then we can judge if rafa can lead us to no.19, until then i think what he has achieved is quite incredible tbh.

Speedy mate, i identify the Rafa-isms (when it comes to picking/changing the team, formation and system on a regular basis) as the key obstacles in our plight. Change rafa for someone who doesnt do that, and we're a good portion of the way there...to challenging, at least.

i agree mate ,were in freefall at the moment. no one would of blamed rafa for walking away from this mess after the way the yanks treated him, as i said before jol walked for less.

he would have top clubs drooling over his signature offering him a way out of the mess that is happening at L.F.C, but he stays.why?

because he feels for our club,it is his home and he wants to make us the great leviathon of footballing sides he knows he can.

so he waits, players he has to rely on know they will be included in the cull and constantley play like the spoilt kids they are but rafa can deal with that

the press turn the thumb screws on him and seemingly blame the whole sorry mess on rafa at every given opportunity but,tick tock tick tock, rafa waits, takes the abuse in his stride.

rafa knows that with dic in charge in the summer he will FINALLY get to peel away the dead wood and bring in the 1st choice players ready for his premiership attack, rafa seems to think its worth waiting for, so at the very least i think he needs us to be patient mate.

Feeling for the club isnt enough though mate...otherwise WE'D all be qualified for the job.
