I'm not Charlie's biggest fan, but such a woeful, wildly inaccurate report beggars belief to the moon and back. He hesitated slightly on the cross for the first goal, but could do little about the header. For the second, again his positioning may be questioned to an extent, but you'll probably see half a dozen worse goalkeeping errors every week in the Premier league alone. Other than that he did relatively well.

If you're looking for players to point the finger at for our current malaise, it's a bit disingenuous to single out the bleeding second choice goalie.

I defend Liverpool as much as the next guy when they deserve it but they don't and Bascombe is right. The selection was baffling. The substitutions of Babel baffling. The result, Baffling.

Noone is going to point out our superiority (shots and possesion) too much in such a game and rightly so they shouldn't.

I really don't rate Itandje. I saw him at the Carling Cup game at Reading and he was all over the place. Martin is a better keeper and would have been my choice - he has been top notch every time I have seen hime play.

You may be correct but the fact is he shouln't be rotating a keeper in a game which represents one of our last chances of winning silverware. I haven't seen much of MArtin but have heard positive things.

I don't give a **** if Itandje is in the squad to give him a game because he normally sots on the bench. He knew when he joined that he was only going to be second choice. The lad is **** and smacks of a panic buy to have a second keeper with experience in place.
