after watching that shower of **** last night i can now sort of understand why he picks kuyt most weeks, yes he doesnt have the quality but he tries and fights for every ball. I think Rafa by picking him as tried to say if you fight as hard as dirk you will play week in, week out.....this has fallen on deaf ears though.
the penny finally dropped yesterday, we dont have any fighters in out team just a bunch of lazy arse feckers not fit to wear our shirt.....dirk maybe no superstar but he has the pride and will put everything into wearing the red shirt.

Food for thought indeed. There are definitely some players in the squad who could learn a thing or two about heart and fight.

However (the inevitable however ), that passage of play in the 2nd half when Kuyt tried to chest control the ball four yards out sums him up - no killer instinct AT ALL. Why on earth was he trying to control a ball four yards out? You try and bundle the ball in with whatever part of your body you can.

Anyway, my feelings on Kuyt have been repeated ad-nauseum on here. He must be a part of the summer cull.
