Nearly every manager in the Premiership knows how to stifle us - and Rafa hasn't got a clue what to do to counter it. His team selections are bizarre, his tactics are overly cautious and his use of certain players and substitutions is bordering on the ridiculous and it's blatant to everybody that he's lost the ability to motivate the players.

And you can't think of any managers better than that?
    Steve McLaren ?

If he's lost some players, he should get rid of them. It's not the other way round sorry. Rafa has proved that he's one of the best around.

We've been playing dross because most of these overpaid ****ers aren't playing to their level. Not difficult really.

With the exception of probably Masher (who's playing for a contract) there isn't a player in the team who's hitting his best form week in week out.
      Do you think that's coincidence?

So what ? Do they want a pay rise ? Is that really difficult to be motivated when you're playing CL, FA Cups and the lot ??

It's nothing to do with Rafa's lack of motivation. That is one of the most incredible comment I've read lately. FFS, these guys are gown ups mate, not kids, and they're supposed to be professionals.

Just said this in another thread but it's how I feel at the moment.

New owners, Rafa 2 year extension, any player that doesn't like it can **** right off. Let Rafa build his dynasty, please.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

wh sing you'll never walk alone but some seem happy for rafa to take FULL blame for the shambles that is going on at lfc at the mo.

Rafa was the mutts nutts a couple of years ago now he's the villain. Talk about consistent fans.

By backing him doesn't mean we accept his failures. He probably is the first one to know where he's done bad. Our role is to get behind the team and the manager, and hope the ones playing justify their fat salaries.

Some of the bashing Kuyt has received in here was also a disgrace IMO. He's been running his socks off for the team. Yes he probably lacks the ability required, but ****ing hell, he's a LFC player still and we should try to encourage him.

Hear what you're saying mate. I don't think its the football that's affecting him. I'm guessing his personal life and the issues of the house break-in etc. I don't think he'll ply his trade in the continent and if he were to move on in Ingerlund, my guess wld be to the Arse.

I ask this because i cant honestly think of anyone that is available, and as such dont want him sacked. The only one i can think of is Hiddink, but he's contracted to Russia, so isnt really an option.

The only way i want Rafa sacked is if we are guaranteed to be getting an attacking manager, someone who can make us play teams of the park. Someone who can use what we have, and make us better...ie: not need another 4 years to get "his" team.

I think the majority of you will agree on this point. So who would you honestly think can do this for us?

And please dont answer Mourinho, because he had Chelsea playing absolute dire stuff. I dont want him anywhere near our club.
We're Liverpool FC mate, it doesn't need to be someone who doesn't currently have a job.

Yeah who knows? he'll probably play blinder against Inter and all will be forgiven but I think that would be a band -aid. Something is not right with him.

Sadly we are again on a Season's Brink. Hopefully we can go all the way in the CL and win big ears again. Granted it will paper the cracks albeit temporarily and I'm sure this summer we will be in for a major cull in personnel. Whether Rafa stays or goes in summer is not relevant at this point. We really need to pick ourselves up after some dismal performances and do well in the CL and the remainder of the league, strong finish to 4th. We can still influence the outcome of who wins the league (prays we derail the Scum at Old Toliet). Many of our player kick a painful kick up thier arses for a gutless, headless display. Come what may, this summer will be defining.

I can't agree with selling Gerrard. We all moan about not having enough top top class players so why sell arguably our best, and certainly one of the best in the world. You can't blame him for getting fed up sometimes with some of the dross that he has to line up next to
I'd still be gutted if we sold him.

As for managers, **** knows Can't really think of anyone off the top of my head. But I think we will very lucky to find one who not only wins, but wins whilst playing great football as many are demanding on here. Those managers are few and far between.
