    Besian Idrizaj

..collapsed during an Austrian Bundesliga match for Wacker Innsbruck (where he is on loan) at the weekend.
He came on as a sub, and a few minutes later fell head first onto the ground and lay unconscious on his stomach with his legs still spasming.
By the time he regained consciousness, he was already in the hospital.
No cause has been found yet.

Scary stuff. I hope he's going to be ok.

This sort of thing is becoming more frequent. It happened in a local game here at the weekend - fella had a heart attack and died

            WTF?

Jesus. Hope he makes a speedy and full recovery.

Maybe this is just a coincidence but his career has taken some extremely odd turns of late.

            All the best, Bez.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Scary stuff. I hope he recovers quickly and that the cause of the problem is diagnosed.

when we first signed him a lot of good things were expected of him. Unfortunately things havent gone to plan but he is still young. Hopefully he can make a full recovery and continue with his career.

as far as I'm aware, Idrizaj is not out on loan, he actually signed for the Austrian team permanently. His details no longer appear on the official LFC.TV website.
Anyway, whether he's still our player or not is not really important under the circumstances, let's all wish him a speedy recovery

He was found to have nothing wrong with him, but that he had drank too little water, was too tired and it had combined to make him pass out.

Was released after tests on his brain and heart and told to drink more water, apparently.

                      He is fine.
