Don't rate Aurelio but he had a good game tonight, well played lad.

Thought Gerrard's deliveries were awful tbh but he came up with the goods in the end.

Masherano was his typical battling self, moved the ball forward more which was nice to see.

Rafa got the tactics spot on and brought Crouch on at the right time, easy to say that now of course but still you can't have any complaints about him tonight.

Great point. We need to improve on set pieces. More Agger vs Chelsea type magic would be helpful

We are talking about Materazzi and if he gets booked after 10 minutes then you more or less don't have any other option than to take him off. He is probably the dirtiest player in football.

His crossing was piss poor at times but he done the job, got in behind all game and gave them a lot of hassle

He is always at walking pace when he crosses the ball...and as such you get the little floating crosses that are so easy for defenders to clear.

Big sigh of relief, thank you Rafa and the boys.

Best things about tonight were the character and attitude shown by the players. They played for each other and never gave up, even though Inter were so hard to break down.
Mascher and Finnan were both immense.

The worst thing was the amount of chances wasted because of bloody awful crossing from both wings (Finnan excepted), in fact why do Aurelio and Stevie take corners when you just know the ball won't end up where it should?
