I've got an uncle from Manchester. Took me to see them play at Old Trafford when I was a kid. Always thought he was a Utd fan but he said he supports all the teams in the Northwest. Was he taking the piss???

This guys speaks a lot of sense for a Manc.

I've always had a begruding respect for the Man Utd way of doing things. And the only reason for this is that it echos the Liverpool way. In fact, it was based on the Liverpool way. Old school in a new world.

This guy had valid points, I'd love to see Utd and Everton go down. But then would you be fired up playing teams without any 'real' rivalry?

Now Chelsea are another matter, I'd love to see them ****ing burn.

So have I. Hate them with all my heart but we couldn't have that hate without the respect. Rivalry is built on respect.

However, I have my doubts that this bloke is actually a Manc. I would be VERY pleasantly surprised if he was really a Manc.

Regardless, of course he's right in nearly everything he says. Not sure why he's harping on about us being relegated a la Leeds - as if that's gonna happen - but I fully agree with his point. I wouldn't want United to go to the wall, or Everton. Like he says, where and against whom would we get our buzz?
