Tommo was talking about Pako and Rafa's fall out and said something along the lines of "I'm not going to get into details but Rafa was 100% right in what he did, it's a bloody difficult job without a number 2"
I'm sure it was something like that - did anyone see it in full, it was on Gillette Soccer special??

Never saw that, so have no idea, but does anyone know what really happened between them? I'd be intrigued to know. i mean there were recent quotes by Rafa saying he felt betrayed by what Paco did, whatever that was.

well the rumour i got told was that he didnt rate Babel and disagreed with rafa signing him, and called it a panic buy.. and also that rafa altered the training schedule or something, and because it was usually pako that took the training he got a little annoyed?!

but the only two people who know the truth are pako and rafa, but it must have been a big disagreement to split them two up!

I heard it was the Sociadad job. Whichever one it was, I think thats what caused the split. But, something must have happened in the first place for Pako to have even thought about applying for another job!!!

I met him at the Bolton v Espanyol friendly at the beginning of the season with Xabi Alonso. He didnt seem too happy then like so dont know if it had already happened!! He was a really sound fella, just didnt seem like he wanted to even mention Liverpool.
