I have mixed feelings towards it, of course it would be hard to imagine sharing a stadium with everton - because it is everton. It just seems wrong...

I can see how it can make sense sharing the building cost of the stadium and the general running costs of it... The money saved from that could go in to new players, better facilities, cheaper tickets etc... in that sense it would not be that bad.

Other big clubs such as milan, inter, lazio, roma can make it work to their advantage, so it could work in liverpool as well i guess. If it comes up, I hope the tickets will be mucher cheaper, so that we dont get the prices the scum has now...

i think the point im really making above is that im disappointed in the new anfield as the reality of it looms and thinking back to why I rejected the groundshare originally, my reasons were more about the current anfield being our 'home' than just sharing with everton.

as i say above if we are leaving home, lets not take it lightly and lets make sure it achieves what its intended to - which is solving the financial competitive disadvantage we're up against. There's no other reason for us to move is there.

we're not in london so we're not going to get the coporate backing arse/chelski get (even Spurs & WHam should eventually beat us in that regard). we haven't all ready got the 75k stadium like the mancs so we have to take some kind of a hit to get it. I think the reality of LFCs place in the modern game says that to get the best future on the pitch, we should not take on the finanical burden of the stadium alone as that money is needed elsewhere. It shouldn't be spent moving into a stadium. The logical answer is a groundshare but if there's any other possibility that achieves this then im up for that first of course I am. But I don't know what it is.

We wouldnt be a club without a home either. Our home would be Melwood. Like Milan's training is their base and the San Siro is their stage.

If anything, sharing just ups the ante in the competition between the clubs and im all for that. we're miles out in front and we are their cup final for sure but we need them in our lives more than we care to admit. it was a defining aspect of the 80s that Liverpool was the dominant football city with two top clubs and we really were rivals. that rivaly spurs us on against others too as we'll see again this season. so im actually loathe to see everton relegated or move outside the city etc.
