He was going to deliver the crosses for big Andy Carroll wasn't heOriginally posted by brightred View PostWhy the **** did we buy him. I had the misfortune of seeing him play 3 time times at Anfield, for and against us. Jesus, he was brutal.....why, ****in why????
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

10 years ago we spent c£65m on Carroll, Downing and Charlie Adam. Think it was part of a buy British (****) period.

Hopefully in 10 years time City fans will be saying the same about Kane, Grealish and Carson.Originally posted by Rigadon View Post

GOAL: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough
Harry Wilson
Fulham take the lead with a piece of quality from Harry Wilson.
Josh Onomah gets into the box on the right and lays it back to the Welshman.
He stands up Marc Bola, cuts into the middle of the pitch onto his left foot and sends a low effort from about 20 yards through another defender's legs and into the Boro net.
Joe Lumley couldn't get down to it, and it's a debut goal for the £12m summer signing from Liverpool.
Another MASSIVE game

13 years and 400 appearances later and Harrison is still with TNS.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI was thinking about Paul Harrison the other day – our ex-keeper whose father & uncle (?) died at Hillsborough (JFT96). He enjoyed a few sub appearances in the first team before being loaned to Leeds, where he didn’t make a single appearance.
Sadly he’s a virtual amateur these days. Having left us for Wolves, he had spells at Chester, Hereford and Southport – before The Port released him and he signed for TNS last summer.
Insúa is 32. Pacheco, Nemeth, Bruna, Ngog, Amoo, Ngoo, Toni Silva, Buchmann, Dalle Vale, Spearing etc all close or well into their 30s as well.
We’re old *******s now.
