I don't think he's a very good pundit or co-commentator, or particularly funny, but I do like his dismissive and half-interested style. He doesn't take the game too seriously and it's a welcome antidote to the sky hype that has spread through football and takes itself far to seriously.

Well Mellor and his lovely cushioned header were crucial in our CL campaign that year, so was Le Tallec at Juve. And even if they weren't it's still very ****ty, hope it's not true, although it's fair to say a lot of things have changed in those 13 years

I wouldn't be surprised if it is true, wasn't theresomethng about the none squad members on the night not getting medals straight away? I believe it was sorted out later but again not good from the club.
