Brings back memories. At least you guys got them when they were still current. We'd have to wait a minimum of 3-8 weeks to get those kind of magazines. I was fortunate enough to get a dailup connection at home around 97, so stopped buying them around then.

Some of my mates who had more primitive parents would be overly pleased with themselves buying boxes of ancient Kerrang magazines for overinflated prices years after that. From these odd, niche stores which used to import all kinds of 'obscure' music and merchandise. The owners were always really dodgy too. I think about it often and have come to the conclusion that in many respects despite all the bull****, the internet has improved life and we're better off with it.

Kerrang and Raw were absolute staples for me in the early 90s

If I was feeling sophisticated I'd buy a Mojo

I moved on to Melody Maker and NME as I went more indie

            Used to love Select too.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Select was the last magazine that I regularly purchased. Stopped doing so in about 1995.

I would have had no idea who he was.

Did you recognize him or were you 'tipped off'?

Also, you can't be doing too badly if you live in a street with PL footballers

Jesus, i was expecting him to have signed for AFC Liverpool or something.

He really is back in the PL.
