Mascher is very lucky that the ref didnt see what he did and that video evidence wasnt used against him.

It may be funny to see players from other clubs get hammered but it wont be when it happens to us
YES! Remember reina a few years ago when that ex-Chelsea cunt Robben collapsed like a bitch

      Spot on.

If the red card was for raising his hands, Mascher did the same. If it was for violent conduct, then that's just pathetic.

don't know about masch, i think it was a yellow and not red, he grabbed his jaw and wasn't trying to hurt him, but Aliadiere slapped him, theres a huge difference.

What's the difference? They both raised their hands.

          Was Aliadiare's 'violent' ? No.

don't be a cunt mate with your silly smilies!

to me there is a massive difference between touching someone in the face and slapping one in the face. you see it all the time when players pat each other on the chin often in a patronizing way, but to straight out slap someone is a completely different matter...

The smilies are there to be used, complain to the establishment, not me

Your LFC bias on this issue is astronomical.

it's not the smilies, it's how you use them. them and your patronizing comments that really makes you look like a complete dick at times...

i saw the two incidents as two very different incidents, and i'd like to think i'd view it the same way if there where other parties involved. but since you are always right then i will bow to your knowledge and wisdom and pretend to agree with you.

What was patronising? And 'how i use them'? Doesnt that sound a bit selective? Seems like you're choosing to interpret them in a way which best suits your argument, which is disappointing, because you've never been one that does that.

i don't dislike you i just got pissed off at the way you made your point. this little gem can be used in various circumstances, but i felt that the way you used it was in a patronizing way, it probably wasn't meant like that but thats how it came across to me and i reacted to harshly. i understand the opinion of many on here that the two incidents aren't very different and masch should have been given a red card, but i don't agree with it. and i don't think where i sit and how i see it that my argument is that far fetched and biased but i really do think they are different incidents. i feel there is a difference in touching and patting the face and slapping it, i might well be in a minority with this opinion but every time you touch a players face in a provocative manner you should get a red, but every time you ether slap someone in the face or even try to then thats a different matter. perhaps that is violent im not sure.

I genuinely wasnt being patronising, so apologies if it came across that way

I also think that if it had been the other way round and Masher had been sent off but not JA, you'd have been furious - i certainly would've. But i take what you say at face value, i just cant personally differentiate between each action.

i agree that i might have become furious if that would have happened, but if my argument holds up that would mean that i would be biased in that situation. i know i am biased and as hard as i try not to be i really can be with out knowing . so we really need for another situation like this to come around to find out what we really think, and even then we might be biases towards our previous argument

'Raising your hands' isn't a red card offence - there's no such offence in the rules actually. If the ref gave a red card, then it must have been for one of the very few circumstances in which red cards are given - of which violent conduct is one. The others couldn't apply in this situation, so by definition he was sent off for violent conduct.
