Let's play 4231 it's worked for past few games and a bit of consistency would probably help.

LONDON: Kevin Nolan says Rafa Benitez will never win the Premier League until he stops whining and starts winning at places like Bolton.

Trotters skipper Nolan, a lifelong Reds fan, believes Liverpool boss Benitez needs to get tough at the top.

The Merseysiders head to the Reebok today bidding to improve on a dismal record against their North West rivals.

They have managed just one victory at Bolton in 11 years – Benitez has lost twice and drawn once.

Liverpool-born Nolan, rejected by the Reds as a boy, said: “It is music to our ears when we hear the complaints about our approach.

“But I have never heard any of their players moaning about us – just the manager. It is unfortunate the manager always blames us and says we have kicked them off the park.

“Mr Benitez has his views on the game and the way he wants to conduct his interviews.

“But I’ve never heard him mention anything once when they have trounced us at Anfield.

And I think we kick them more there than we do here. We can’t get near them otherwise!

“Unlike the manager, a lot of their players come out after the game and say ‘well done’.

“They know deep down if they want to start winning Premier League titles, they have got to start coming to places like Bolton and living up to the challenge.

“If Liverpool want to break into that mould, they need to get results here.”

Nolan, 25, added: “If Liverpool are going to match Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, they have got to have one season when they spend over £150mil.”

With Bolton just three points above the drop zone, Nolan’s men need a result.

Nolan said: “We have had a few good results over the past few seasons against Liverpool and we have got to make sure we do the business again.

“This is always one of the first fixtures I look for, so that when we beat them again I can go back and give the lads in Liverpool some stick.

“If we are really on our game we will have a great chance of beating them and give ourselves a massive confidence boost.” – The S*n, London

I don't dislike them quite as much now that fat Sam has left but I agree with Nolan that we have to start winning these types of matches to be any kind of threat in the league.

I hope that we smash them but I do think we are missing some steel in our side. We have it in Masher, Stevie used to have it big time but not so much these days.Torres has it and will make there defenders earn their keep. Anyone else got it?

Bolton are a very poor side, they haven't even got the same physicality to them that they once had.

            Reina

            Finnan Hobbs Skrtel Riise

            Beni Lucas Alonso Babel

            Kuyt Crouch

That side would win 3-0 no questions asked.

We would have trouble playiong Hobbs since he is out on loan.

What an A grade c*nt if true.

Wouldn't be surprised if they nicked it from elsewhere though.
