Dude, instead of asking the GF to record it, why not control whatever you wanna watch on IQ online?
Next you at your missus, go to the Foxtel website, and register. Switch off the decoder, take out the smart card, register with the smart card number and you're done.

You can then go into the TV guide and set IQ to record from that. So if you are out or cannot reach her, just log on, select what you wanna record and when you get back it's all done.

Im all over this....you learn something new every day.

the big question is - has anyone worked out how to record a liverpool game on match choice when it isnt the featured or preselcted game? i.e. i have to wake up at 2 in the morning select the liverpool match manually then record - then go back to bed....?

I also haven't worked out how to record on iQ when we're on Viewers Choice but not the main game.

Sadly, I don't believe you can record the game if its on viewers choice. It will record the main game only. Anyway, thats what happened to me.

Yep, I dont believe it can be done. Same thing happened to me as above. Given the run of games we have in the next few weeks we should be on tv consistently.
