I think you need to get over this. Football is a business and the fans have 0% impact on business decisions. The constant discussion on these huge DIC and takeoever threads are pure conjecture and nothing more.

If Hicks' own son getting booted out of a pub and spat at doesnt impact the decisions - what do you think a bit of a banner protest will achieve? Move on, support the team, weve turned a corner and things could work out just as well with hicks as they could with DIC.

Customers have no impact on a business? WTF. Of course fans will have impact on decisions that are made.

Hicks may not care about if we protest or not but the banks or anyone interested to back Hicks will.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Unlikely to be honest, it might have a fringe effect but unless people stop buying tickets merchandise then the finances are unaltered and that is banks/investors primary concern. I'm not a big fan of boycotting LFC as it seems likely to be cutting our nose off to spite our face. It is ultimately a personal choice though and people should be free from pressure to show their disapproval in any particular way and allowed to do what they feel is right/most effective.

I think you know exactly what im getting at. The only thing that would make an impact would be the arrangement of a serious and sustained match day boycott in the thousands. it wont happen My point is that a few hundred blokes saying they are going to cancel their e season ticket and stop buying replica shirts is laughable - as is a couple of hundred blokes with anti-yank banners. it is not going to effect Hicks.

Its a sad state of affairs - but some of the anti yank stuff from our fans is as embarrassing as it was from the mancs when glazer took over. He's a business man like hicks - not a football fan and they arent struggling are they? The same mancs talking utter ****e about not supporting the club, never buying merchandise and never going on the game anymore have all gone very quiet while they enjoy a few more league titles....

There has to be a protest. People saying no, think in three years when your club is in mid-table mediocrity..it will be too late to protest.

Besides, I dont think the game will be interesting anyway

Don't know what club your talking about, cos i'm pretty confident that in three years time, whether under Hicks or not, Liverpool Football Club will not be languishing mid-table. Christ, there are some drama queens on this forum.

Football is business...to be make it worthwhile, you need to be successful. To be successful, you need to spend, take some risks and have a goal in mind.

This is ultimately a futile exercise. Most fans don't care one way or the other and without 40,000 screaming fans the effect will be nominal. Our future decision we be made based on $ and $ only.

On the downside we could distract the team and create animosity between fans as many are not happy with the aggresive and intimidatory way SOS conduct themselves. They want to watch the game not be accosted by some gob****e telling them what they should think, say and do.

Give it a rest Hicks already knows everything he needs to about how he is regarded.

it would be good if the protests could reach a slightly higher level than "yanks out".
