You are right its way too early for that comparison, Rushie was tops for years.

If Torres can sustain this form for a number of season, then he could be better.

I really must learn my way around this place.

Hah no worries, it is a bit hidden away.

We have some really fine attacking talent in Torres, Gerrard and increasingly Babel too. If Rafa lands one really top class wide player this summer and we establish a regular pattern of play, we could take a giant leap forward. Yossi would be an ideal fallback option too. I know we've had a poor season but progress isn't always linear and I can see things slowly falling into place in terms of Rafa's philosophy being realised.

An unchanged attacking quartet along with Mascha is working really well, the formation seems to be working and the guys are growing in confidence.

Great result tonight - taking us back in to fourth, now lets keep the momentum going!!!

Torres is just pure class, potential to be one of the best strikers in the PL by far - gotta love the lad!

Good to see Gerrard back on top, thought he was good tonight... Seems like the team is pulling together at the moment for the fourth spot and the CL...
