Just needs to learn the Gerrard smash when he goes on a run like that.

    He's been very, very impressive.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Yep, I think he is going to be very, very good. His run down the field was great.I liked how he ran in to defend Xabi after he got put down in the Bolton game too. He likes a bit if the rough stuff. Love to see him shape up to Terry and Ferdinand.

With our current form it is making that slump we had look even more costly...**** it!

Anyone think Riise looked a little lighter last night? He's looked a bit too muscular this season to me and I think it's affected his mobility. Last night he looked a lot lighter on his feet.

Dunno, but he had his best game of the season IMO. Was lively down the wing and didn't play all those ****e passes.

Yeah easily his best game for ages last night.

I wonder if the team has heard that DIC are buying the club?

Surely just a corked thigh. wouldn't worry too much. Lucas will come in for him against Newcastle.

Skrtl - Brilliant. Composed, solid and fast.
Gerrard - In excellent form now.
Alonso - Looks like he's getting back to what we expect. Pinging passes to all parts of the park.
Torres - Sublime. As someone has already said, he never scores the same goal twice.

Really happy with how things are going. Formation is working a treat and it's suiting Kuyt right down to the ground. I think Rafa's got the message on keeping a settled team and rotating only when injury and form dictate.

C'mon the redmen, let's get some daylight between us and the BS

You are probably right but I think we do however need another player who naturally fits into the 1 in that formation. I guess if the right sided player is good enough Babel and the new boy could make Crouch a better option. IMO we need more pace than Crouch upfront with Kuyt right side would give.
