    It's incredible really...

    Spurs, Brum, Wigan and Villa...

    Wins instead of draws...

    Arsenal 65
    Man U 64
    Liverpool 61

I know every team can say about games they should've won, but we're talking about some seriously fecking fine margins...

Quite right but we can make up for some loss time with win against Arsenal and the Scum. I am clutching at straws.

Not tonight i wasnt, i've been pretty ill of late and i'm not really well enough to travel unfortunately.

Watched it on Canal+ though. Comprehensive win. Makes you wonder how the feck Brum and Wigan took a point away from anfield

I like your change of tune but surely its bad management and not fine margins?

Neither completely one nor the other - little bit of both at different times.

Since we've been minimizing rotation and sticking with the same formation we've become a new team/

Well against Brum, Wigan and Villa it was bad finishing, not much the manager can do about that. Spurs deserved to beat us so we got a bit lucky in that one.

And the title of the thread gave me such hope. Alas, no, we've been DJS'd.

                  That's the one...

so true, it does look like we have found the right formation and players look settled.

I find it hard to take really.

90% of the time, we'd probably win all 4 of those games at home. Inexplicably, we've failed to win all four this season and it's potentially the difference between 4th place and a serious title challenge. Just fecking hard to take, that it's four home games against THOSE teams, who we'd expect to beat easily.

I mean Chelsea at home, unlucky not to win, but you can take a draw. Arsenal at home, 10 mins from winning, but probably didnt deserve to win. Mancs at home, rubbish game, neither side deserves to win.

Against them top 3 you can maybe say ok, it's hard to beat them. But even without beating them, a proper challenge could've happened if we'd just done what we expect to do easily.

                          Grrrrrrr

I wasn't saying that it was bad management but I read hundreds of posts on the weekend (most of them from DJS!!) saying we were out of it because Rafa could bnever deliver in the Premiership! I was being a little tongue in cheek

I prefer the newer, happier, DJS!
