    Changes...

With DIC closing in on us what next for the reds? What happens to the club and the people in it?

What do you want to happen? Lets start from top to bottom.

    1. Hicks and Gillett - One might stay and if he does do we just ignore him or concentrate our efforts on getting him out?

    2. Parry - Surely this incompetent fool should be now given his two year notice? I wouldn't sack him and make him rich, I am sure some toilets need cleaning or the builders constructing the new stadium will need a water/brick carrier.

    3. Moore - This guy should be sacked in disgrace for what he has put us through, his own dad once said "he can never do anything right". Goodbye and good riddance.

    4. Rafa - Signs are that he has redeemed himself from the mid season slump. The team is playing well, there is less rotation of players and formations and we are set up to have a go at teams now. All plus points. It's been done a death but I'd be inclined to keep him despite a disasterous 4 years in the league title race. The club needs stability after all this and with him making some great signings lately - Torres and Mascherano to name but two - he deserves to see them next season. He deserves massive credit for gambling on Torres and for putting his job on the line to sign Mascherano. I know I am on at him all the time but a combination of needing stability and signs of change has turned my head a bit.

    6. Assistants - I genuinely believe Rafa needs an assistant, I'd like that to be Roy Evans if possibe. I'd also like to see a link between Rafa and the board - someone like Kenny Dalglish would do. I think DIC will bring in a Sporting Director without a doubt.

    5. The players - I am hoping DIC will want to invest so some players will be sold... I'd not cry if certain players were sold, I am sure we all have done this to death too. Two fullbacks, 1 winger and a partner for Torres please!

What is inevitible is that CHANGE will happen and as Barak Obama would say - we have to believe it will after what we have been through.

Hicks and Gillett - get shot of the cunts, at any cost.

          Parry - see above answer.

Moores - make him uncomfortable, make him answer some hard questions then forgive and forget, if thats impossible just forget. Hes one of us at the end of the day, if a rather incompetent one.

Rafa - back him, allow him 2 full seasons with anything/anyone he wants (within reason) then judge.

Assistants - get the best of the best, id imagine DIC could easily manage this.

The players - See answer 4.

I now believe Rafa will remain at the helm beyond the summer.

yeah - fairplay here too. i doubt longterm whether rafa can do it fo us in the premiership but the recent performances, results and lineups might just suggest that he is learning and maybe acknowledging mistakes.

my only concern id that this is a more generalised backs against the wall scenario - we went for it against olympiakos and in istanbul because we had nothing left to lose. is there a danger that we are kind of doing the same now and that rafa will have an unchanged philosophy at the start of next season? he's fighting for a job he obviously wants at the moment. this talk of us "wanting to win the champion's league" would be considerd the height of foolhardiness by any other club at any other time yet we find ourselves in the position where we actually nod along and say it's a must. strange.

dunno about a link between rafa and the board - he seems more than capable of fighting his own corner. far more important could be a link between him and the players.

i don't like the animosity towards moores - incompetence in football club-ownership isn't the worst flaw in the world. no-one ****in died because we didn't win the premiership. moores is called a cunt because he's not a great businessman yet the very morally questionable DIC are hailed as saviours...

can the failure to tie up contracts and transfer deals be blamed on parry? if so, he sholud go.

I'd like to win the league.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Couldn't agree more. I hate seeing Moores being called a cunt. That man is a true Red and, to my mind, made a catastrophic-but-honest mistake. Us lot think this is painful....Moores will be hurting more than any of us could imagine. What a thing to have on your conscience.

Yeah he ****ed up and ****ed up good style, but I bear no ill will towards him. Just crushing disappointment.

I agree about Moores, he isn't a cunt, he is one of us but after what he has done, he deserves to be punished.. and that means he can come back on the KOP and away from his "privileges".
