    The mancs and Torres

Couldn't access est last night and had a look at one of the manc forums(redcafe) for fun.
In one of their numerous Torres threads I found this

Thing is, I have no problem with the guy, he is a quality player, and I'm happy to admit this. But people on here really do go OTT. With comments like 'I wish we'd signed him' 'Torres >>>>Tevez' 'Torres>>>>>Rooney' 'Best striker in the world' etc. There is one thing appreciating a good player, and then there is RedCafe.

I don't see 13 page long threads on RAWK and Arsenal-Mania about Rio or Ronaldo.

And I'm sorry, but these Torres threads have become very cringe worthy and embarrassing.
and on page 14 I found this

This looks like a RAWK thread in all honesty. Bet they're pissing themselves with laughter right as we speak.

    Just thought I'd add...

    Torres>>>>>>>Tevez
    Torres>>>>>>>Rooney

Torres is the best striker in the world.

I love how they're all bickering amongst each other because they're so pissed off that they didn't get him!

Didn't Whiskey Nose say something about them trying to sign him last season but had doubts over his ability to adapt?

      I love it.

Just arrived at work and a Manc here - who has been very quiet about Torres thus far - just said:

"I've gotta say he's ****in amazing isn't he. Probably the best finisher I've seen in this country for a long time."

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It makes it that much more frustrating that we have a guy who is scoring for fun but we are still in 4th place.

Next season will be a good'un unless Hicks ****s us about any more.

he is something else isn't he - i, like everyone else i know, is turning gay for the lad.

The few mancs I know are absolutly gutted they didn't sign him when they had the 'chance' - which if i remember correctly is a load of bollocks as they were interested but he turned them down straight away as he felt he wasn't ready to leave atletico and he showed no interest in leaving there for anyone except us.

On another note - all the blue ****e i know haven't even mentioned a thing about torres - which is about as close as compliment as you will get of those ****s
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

            Haha, same here.

There's one bitter here who, when Yakubu has scored, takes about ten seconds to start talking about him.

He hasn't said a single word (about anything) this morning. I'm just sitting here like this:

gosh how much better they would be, if Alonso and Torres had wanted to go to them!!

                  Redcafe:

'I think Rio will keep him in his pocket, easy.

Apart from that one goal against Chelsea (when he was up against Ben "****e" Haim, to be fair) Torres has yet to cause problems against any really top defenders.

He eats **** defenders for breakfast but I reckon he's a bit one-dimensional to cause serious problems for world-class defenders.

Our own Jonny Evans was all over him, like white on rice, when Norn Iron played Spain.'

Well, i'd settle for more ****ing about with signings like Torres, Babel, Lucas and Masher (not gonna get into the debate about how the signings were funded, but you can't deny his business methods have allowed us to sign some class players) if it means we can close the gap on Arsenal and United.

No, not pro Hicks, but i am not so blinkered as to see that he has so far put (somebodies) money where his mouth is....but but but net spend net spend...big ****ing deal, we sold players we didn't need. Would you all have preferred us to sign all the above players and keep the deadwood on the books as well, just so we can all go "wow, look at our net spend. Aren't we good!"

I like the fact that even though he plays for Liverpool, he isn't a cunt".
