torres at 23/24 is waaaaaay better than Henry @ 23/24. Torres is more of an all round player too but similar in his style of play. He will prove to be better IMO. He has a wide variety of finishes unlike Henry who scored most of his goals by running in, opening up his body and slotting it home.

I made a thread earlier during the summer called "Torres = Henry". People were laughing.

                  Agreed.

Not in terms of a threat and not in terms of consistency.

He's got time on his side though.

He's had a great season, but many strikers have had one good seaon in the prem and fallen of the pace. If he's still in top form this time next year we can start talking of these comparisons.

                      Yeah agreed, not yet.

What do people think about Torres in terms of Fowler? Again it'd be a "not yet", IMO, as Robbie did it year in year out until the injuries caught up with him. What do others think? In terms of quality...
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The question is Henry in his prime not Henry at 23/24.

The signs are good, but he aint as good yet.

Different type of player for me. Fowler the best finisher and goal poacher, but Torres offers more threat for the system we are playing at the moment due to his pace and dribbling.

Fowler and Torres together would have been an unbelievable partnership

Which is probably why I said "he will prove to be better IMO". thanks for pointing it out anyway though.
