I would suggest everyone listen to ES as he is normally spot on when it comes to matters like these.

For me if Agger needs an Op he should have it, cos he is a big part of our future. No ****ing about like we did with Harry. Get him right and bring him back fully fit.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Quite. Barring unforseen circumstances, Carra, Hyypia and Skittles should be enough to see us through til the end of the season.

I fractured a carpal bone in my wrist and that could have been nasty. I'm not sure if Agger's injury is a complicated but some of those small bones have big jobs!

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I said a few months ago that my girlfriend told me that he would probably miss the rest of the season.

If a metatarsal injury takes more than four months to heal then it's a very complicated injury.

She is after all a foot specialist so she should know.

He's just injured, that is all. Had a few complications apparently.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

On the back of the draw today, I would have felt far more comfortable with Agger available to us.

After all, he kept Drogba in his pocket and scored the goal that got us through in last years campaign.

                  Will be badly, badly missed.

Molby said on the Radio in late November when everyone thought he was a couple of weeks away from a return that there would be no chance of Agger returning for months. They knew along time ago that he was ****ed, hence the urgency to sign Skrtel

Bloody sad news this, such a promising player, already fulfilling some of it too, & in a very important position as well. I've not read all the posts yet, or the full story, but i take it being out for the season wasn't followed by a prognosis of 'Could miss some of next season or worse also'

He's made how many tentative comebacks now, complete with modified boots to aid him, but still no joy it seems, same injury i take it. Annoying, & as you say badly missed, especially for Arsenal 3 games on the trot.

Yeah thats the only thing thats confused me, hes played a few ressie matches without problems so appeared to on the mend. Not sure if there has been a setback or they are just being ultra careful. Dont let common sense stand in the way of a good conspiracy theory though......

He's going to be our best defender for the next 10 years. Losing a year now, to assure the next 9 is a good investment.

I'll tell you what, Agger and Skrtel could be our defensive partnership for the next 10 years

Crackoff aside I really do believe that. I'd still like to see if Rafa goes back for Garay.

Can't comment on Garay though, I've never seen him play.
