I'm not trying to 'bring you down'. Paranoia gone mad

Of course it can happen. You were going on like it was the most likely outcome, which is isnt. They arent going to ONLY win 3 of their last 9 games That's all i'm saying.

When did i say they'd only win 3.I said the others could take points off them, meaning 1 or 3, and some of those teams are very capable of doing it.I never once said it would happen, just that it could.

        Strangely confident?

I'm confident we'll beat them on Sunday.

Hopefully with a 92nd minute winner.

Fair play mate, but anything COULD happen. Seems a bit obvious to say team a 'could' beat team b...

You seemed to be of the opinion that it's fairly likely, which i'd dispute. That is all. No need to get all defensive about it, i'm not trying to start a 'war' with you

Amen to that,we are due to beat them in the most excruciatingly painful way possible for them

I still remember that FA Cup tie at OT, when Solskjaer scored twice in stoppage time to overturn our 1-0 lead

                Fair enough.

I'm basing my opinion on current form and past results. For me the Arse nearly always beat them in the league in recent years, home and away,The last 2 games against Chelsea have been draws I think, and though we have a bad recent history we are in better form imo and are due one.And they seem to have a mental block against west ham.i threw in Villa due to their performances against the other top 4 teams and Boro cos of same.

try this on.I was sat in the pub with my numerous manc supporting mates when Cantona somehow gets a shot past 3 players and James to win them cunts the cup in 96.I really did at that.( it was drink induced)

That cup final was just a ****ter all in.

The Solskjaer one was horrible cause we'd basically deserved to win and having gone into stoppage time ahead, to concede 2 in 3 mins was devestating beyond rational belief.

To be fair to you, you're not wrong in saying that United's run-in is potentially tricky.

Aside from us, Chelsea and Arsenal, they also have Boro away, which as you say, can often be a tricky one. Villa are no mugs, but United will win that one IMO. Also cant see WHU taking anything from Old Trafford. Curbishley doesnt have the Harry touch...

And Blackburn away is no gimme either.

So in fairness, there's only 4 of their 9 games i'd instantly put down as a win for United...them being Bolton, WHU and Villa at home, and Wigan away.

Sadly, the odds are in their favour when it comes to grinding out wins in most of the 'tricky' games at Boro and Blackburn.

I'd go along with most of that, but West ham have already beaten them this season(yet to lose to them under curbs I think) so it could be a case of the hoodoo continues or revenge is finally exacted,I hope the latter. They have a tough run in as you say and they won't have it all their own way IMO.

Ideal scenario,we win next week and Ronaldo gets injured and misses the rest of the season.I think Chelsea could do it,they are still there with no one paying much attention to them,Preferably us obviously(win next week and who knows) but anyone but the scum will do

Cant possibly see WHU winning (or drawing) at OT. If it was Upton Park, maybe but away is a much different story IMO.

I though you may have been referring to Mr Gerrard's disappearance act against the top sides...

It's about ****ing time we beat the Mancs.

Can we get Danny Murphy on loan for this game?
