why to **** cant liverpooltv show these games???
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

think ive seen them all at this stage. only thing worth watching is the news bit at six bells.

wonder what sort of coverage or range of programmes rival clubs channels have. ????????????

for me what should be on:

        all reserve and underage games.
        more interviews from melwood
pre match press conferences live and in full

        for starters..........

More interviews with Rafa and less chit chat. Sixty Minutes and John Barnes Show is quite good too. This Is Anfield is a bit boring. Same old voices, same old crap.

                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

ABLETT: WE COULD HAVE HAD MORE
                          Jimmy Rice 17 March 2008
Gary Ablett claims his reserves could have scored more in their Dallas Cup opener against FK Slavija – despite the game ending 7-1.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina side were dismantled on Sunday night thanks to goals from Gerardo Bruna (2), Ray Putterill (2), Craig Lindfield, Ryan Flynn and Jay Spearing.

It puts the Reds top of Super Group B ahead of their second fixture against Tigres from Mexico tonight.

Ablett said: "The game was comfortable and we could have had more. Their goalkeeper played very well.

"They were a niggly side: pulling shirts and falling over. They played man for man but we managed to get a 2-1 lead at half-time.

"We passed the ball really well in the second half, ran the legs off them and they couldn't cope in the last 30 minutes."

The game was played out in the famous Pizza Hut Park Stadium in front of a crowd which included Tom Hicks Jr.

Ablett added: "It was a fantastic venue and a great pitch. There were about 4,000 or 5,000 people there and they saw a good performance from a good Liverpool team.

"We spoke to Tom Hicks Jr and his brother – they've been magnificent and have really looked after us. They're taking us to see their ice hockey team on Wednesday and possibly the NBA on Thursday. The hospitality has been fantastic."

Despite all this, the 10-day trip hasn't gone entirely to plan so far, with Hungarian trio Krisztian Nemeth, Peter Gulacsi and Andras Simon having to stay behind due to paperwork issues.

Ablett is hoping this will be sorted on Tuesday and they'll be available for the third group game against Japanese team Ryutsu Keizai on Wednesday night.

                            From the offal -

Craig Lindfield netted a hat-trick while Martin Kelly and Mikel San Jose were also on target as Liverpool's reserves thrashed Mexican outfit Tigres 5-1 in their second game in the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup.
Gary Ablett's men, who smashed seven goals past FK Slavija, in their opening match of the tournament, have maintained their position at the top of Super Group B and now seem certainties to move into the semi-finals of the competition.

Despite the convincing scoreline, Ablett was less than impressed with his side's performance at Richland College field, and believes that playing two games in as many days may have caught up with his youngsters.

"We got ourselves into a 2-0 lead in the first half without ever playing well," he said. "To be honest we played poorly throughout the game. They passed the ball better than we did but they never had anyone who was going to really hurt us.

"They deserved to get their goal to make it 2-1 at half time and when we got the lads in at the break we told them some home truths.

"Nothing really changed though in the second half. We never really got to grips with the game at all. Whether it was the journey catching up with us or whether it was because it was our second game in two days, I don't know.

"On the plus side we defended very well and Craig Lindfield can be pleased with scoring a hat-trick.

"This is tournament football and so we will take the win even if we would have wanted to play a lot better. We've played two now, won two and scored twelve goals so in that respect it's pleasing."

The young Reds now have a couple of days to rest before playing their final group game on Wednesday afternoon against Ryutsu Keizai Kashiwa from Japan.

"They've won one and lost one from their first two games so they're going to have to beat us by a lot of goals to stop us going through," added Ablett.

"We've probably lost Ryan Crowther for the rest of the week with a hamstring strain and the other problem we have now is that four of our lads were booked against Tigres so if they pick up another booking on Wednesday they'll be out of the semi-final. That's a bit disappointing from our point of view.

"We've had two games out here and the referees in each have interpreted the rules of the games completely differently. I suppose that's what you get with international football.

"It's important we give the lads some rest now but on Tuesday we'll be taking them to visit a local hospital where they'll be handing out some gifts that we've brought over. It's really important that they get to see the impact they can have on young children.

"There'll be some time in the afternoon for a bit of shopping but then it'll be an early night to make sure they are well rested for the game on Wednesday."

Liverpool are hoping to welcome Hungarian trio Krisztian Nemeth, Peter Gulacsi and Andras Simon to the squad in time for Wednesday's game after sorting out the paperwork issues which have delayed their entry into the USA.
