    Arsenal away in the league...

I notice we only got 2935 tickets for this game. Their stadium holds 60k.

Why have they been so stingy?

    Not sure.
I thought teams were supposed to get a certain percentage?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I know it's meant to be 15% in the FA Cup. Not sure if there's a minimum percentage in the league, but we usually give about 3000 (if the opponent has a history of selling them all, that is)...

      So 3000 of 45k is 6.6%.

Our allocation at Arsenal is under 5%...the stingy feckers.

        That is correct

I believe its the lowest of 3000 or 10% of capacity so there should be 3k min, but with segregaion it will drop a little.

So it's not actually a 3k minimum then?

who cares, we'll still outsing them and give them the best atmosphere they've ever had there.

I care...the more tickets we get, the more chance of getting one!

from the Horses mouth so to speak

                    7. Unless otherwise agreed by the Board or between the Clubs, each Home Club shall make available
                    to its Visiting Club:
7.1 3,000 tickets or, if the capacity of the Home Club's ground is less than 30,000, such number
of tickets as is equal to 10 per cent. of its ground capacity; and, whether or not that allocation
                    is taken up,
7.2 tickets for a minimum of 10 per cent. of the Home Club's disabled spectator accommodation.
                    8. At least half of the tickets referred to in Rule J.7 above must be made available on a sale or return
basis and the balance must be ordered by the Visiting Club (subject to the conditions set out in Rule
C.78) at least 4 weeks before the League Match to which they relate.

Interesting stuff, cheers. So it's purely segregation that stops it being 3000 then.

I suppose, if they know they'll sell all their's, there's no reason they'd give more than 3k, no matter how big the ground is.

                      Pain in the arse though.

                        We'll still outsing the ****ers.

What's our allocation for the Champs league encounter?
