    Fabio Aurelio

Things are finally coming good for him in a Liverpool shirt.
I have to say i've been one of his biggest critics but that's mainly down to being frustrated with his injury problems. Plus after Rafa said he's a free kick expert and all that i expected him to drive one into the net every time we gotta free kick...most of his attempts have been woeful
Any how he seems to be playing alot better, sharper on the ball, defending better and picking out Torres, Gerrard and co when we're going forward.
Still worry about him defensively though.

What do youse think about him atm yourselves?

He's better than Riise but I still would like a new left back next season.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

I like him, skill and attitude. Not sure how good he is because he never gats to stay fit long enough!! I think he's averaged something like 18 games a season over the last few years, shame. Very underrated by many. Very comfortable on the ball as youd expect, but theres a toughness there as well. Hope he has a good run to the end of the season.

fabio showed what he's capable of against inter, some good tackles, good attacking play/crossing, and good distribution. that 60 yard ball he hit first time to babel, who should have done better, was sublime, as was the approach play and early final ball to nando for the goal.

the one thing i don't like about his game is that he gambles on the all or nothing tackle too often, letting his man get behind him. he isn't the strongest tackler but he has improved since he joined and should get better

still waiting for one of those magic free kicks he is more than capable of

He isn't as strong defensively as Evra or Clichy. He makes some horrible decisions going forward and his final product is pretty bad at times. We still need a new left back. Aurelio isn't the answer.

Lfc tv pointed out lots of mistakes by our players against reading but aurelio made the most
                      Players we should be signing:
Lallana, Lovren, Moreno, Vorm, Shaqiri , Memphis Depay and Adele Ali
                      Players who should be going
Reina, Brad Jones, Coates, Kelly, Agger, Lucas, Assaidi, Suso, Borini, Aspas

I've never really rated Aurelio, not good enough positionally to be a left back and not enough pace and flair to be a decent left midfielder.

I'd like a new left back in the summer and if Bridge is available then we should go for him

I think he more than makes up for his flaws with what he adds in terms of attacking play. I would like to see a new LB but if one has to go I would rather see Riise go (who I also suspect would be the least happy of the two to be a mere backup).
