    It's only a Tuesday and....

I'm already getting getting nervous about Sunday's game. I both love and hate playing United but it's so damn exciting your mind just goes into overload!!

I know I'll feel sick as hell on Sunday morning.

I hate it when we don't have a game midweek. The week really drags, especially when we are not playing until the sunday.
And being Easter Sunday I have to do the whole family thing so gonna have to record the game and watch it later on without knowing the score.

Grrrrr, damn you Jesus! shakes fist

I was ill last week and had to spend the day around my mums because I was having a new bathroom fitted. Took said DVD with me and watched it (and the road to the final one too). Brilliant

I was watching the highlights again on LFC TV the other day, there was a Carragher 100 Special on, and he was just going over the night again.

Unbeaulivable wasn't it, when you look back at it again it's more outstanding what the team achieved. That night will live with me forever.

Me too. Being there to witness it was incredible. I don't think it'll ever be topped for me, as a football experience, even if we get to Moscow and beat the SCUM, I don't think it'd would be quite as amazing.
In 2005 no-one expected LFC to get to the CL final, let alone win it, let alone come back from 3-0 down at half time. It had been 21 years.
If we won it now, it'd be great, but I was literally walking around in a daze for a couple of days after 2005.

I was crying that night, it was mental, after the second goal it was utter chaos in the pub, but when Alonso scored the pen everyone in the pub was shellshocked. It was as if they couldn't believe we'd actually got back into it.

You're so luck being there. I think beating the Scum would top that though!

The emotions of the night will never be surpassed i don't think, not by a football game anyway. The sheer sickness & nausea felt at how the game was going, Then the jolts of hope thrust into the picture as each of our goals went in.

Once level, i just had a feeling of inevitability that Milan would score & rip it from us, & actually they should have, Scheva & The Dudek fist of God. Then to round off an evening of near nervous breakdown, a penalty shoot out, but by then i knew Dudek was getting a helping hand from above. As seen by his advancing penalty saves going unnoticed, by officials or Milan players.

Truly an amazing course of events, unforgettable.

going a bit further back than 2005. have the 89/90 season vid on standby for the build up. have the vid of our double over the mancs in 00/01. now dont get me wrong rafa has taken us forward more than plenty, but in one respect you've got to miss ged. his full sole charge record at old toilet, 3 wins - 1 draw - 1 loss. also the only game on the calender that has me muttering 'wish we still had spud', who knows maybe kuyt can be the new murphy.
