    Do we have an Ambassador??

I was watching King Kenny's Kop 10 moments last night and got thinking that he would be the ideal ambassador for Liverpool.
I'm thinking in the same type of role that Bobby Charlton has for Man U, I was reading that they are bringing Bryan Robson back to share the workload and wondered if we had one, if so who it is.

If we don't I think we should employe The King, I can't think of anyone better as an iconic figure recognised the world over.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

We have a number of ex players in a variety of roles within the club but I don't believe we have an actual ambassador - there would be no-one better I agree than Kenny to represent the true values of the club the world over & I'd love to see it happen but who knows what might happen in the future
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

Yep. We have ex players like Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, King Kenny at times as well. All sorts of players do something to represent Liverpool. It was good to see Carra doing some charity work as well.

I don't mean having a few ex players doing bits of work for us locally, I guess it's tied in with how crap we are commercially that we don't have a worldwide 'face' of the club who is instantly recognisable as 'Liverpool FC' whenever and wherever he is seen

We had a Morris Oxford in the late sixties. It's a very similar car but a little outdated these days.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think our ambassador should be local to the club at least. On a slightly different note, god do I hate the mere sight of bobby charlton!!!

I'm not really arsed who it is I think Kenny is ideal but again it's another area we lag behing United in, they have recognisable figures promoting their club worldwide, we have the capacity to kick on with our popularity throughout the world but we can't even get that right
