    Harry Kewell - surgery tomorrow

Here's a podcast from yesterday of Harry talking to Aussie radio DJ Alan Jones about his injury problems

The interesting bit starts about 3 minutes in

Does anyone actually give a **** about Kewell anymore? I just cannot be arsed with the guy - I've never heard more about a players injuries/krib/missus et al than actual performances.

That's a bit harsh. Is it his fault that he keeps getting injured?

I like Kewell, I just don't like the media circus that his missus generates by talking **** to anybody that is willing to listen.

I'd like to think that after this operation he will come back the player he was before we signed him...........................can't see it happening though think his best days are a thing of the past!!

by the sounds of it he is having 3 operations.

Sky Sports reporting he is out until Xmas.

I agree entirely, it’s not his fault he gets injured and I just want him back fit and well – for the first time in nigh on 3 years.

However the ‘entourage’ that follows him is just getting stupid now – apparently now he’s been named ambassador of sport or something for Australia. His missus is chirping on about him being sex craved and having it all the time. We get treated to the sight of his multiple plasma screens. We know more about his celluloid riddled arse than we do his left foot. His agent is almost telling us on a daily basis of his bowel movements. We have been investigated about tapping him up by Leeds over 3 years ago. He’s taken Gary Lineker to court. Australian team mates tell newspapers in glee that he gout, which turns out to be an infected blister – surely you would instantly get an expert on it? Every single doctor and ‘expert’ has had their say on his injuries.

Is it not unreasonable for him to just go away, have an operation, get fit and actually play for us? Anyone know what Zenden did last year when he was injured? No? Does he not have an annoying bint wife and a publicity whore agent? What was Mellor up to? Sinama Pongolle? I DEMAND to know about their sexual antics while injured….

Yes very harsh. You obviously choose to take notice of all of this hype.
Here in oz we hear nothing of that. I guess it is not his fault that the English media are blood-sucking leeches.
A player says jokingly that he probably has gout and the journos are too dumb to realise the joke or ask the doctor the truth.

Oh and he is a healthy active ambassador. Irony at it's best.

He's been a complete waste of time, money and resources ever since he arrived.

To be honest I couldn't care less if he ever plays for us again. He just hasn't cut it.

Oh how I laughed when he was described as "An edge of the seat player"

Think how annoying it is for us to keep hearing about him being injured needing ops etc, then imagine it was you. I'd be tearing my ****ing hair out - the amount of times he's been injured and has failed to recover properly, it must seriously wear you down. I feel sorry for the lad, but in a selfish way I just don't want to know any more. Too many times when he's finally supposed to be reaching full fitness but doesn't, too many times when he's supposed to get back to his best but never does. Sadly for him and for us I don't think he'll ever be fully fit again.
