I work in Manchester city centre. Today I ahve had 3 diffrenet Scum supporters tell me they are ****ting themselves about Sunday. They all think that Torres and Gerrard are going to tear them to shreds.

I hope their fears are well founded, as this is the first time, in a very long time I can recall that they are worried by us.

you can understand how the mancs think they will win.

our recent form (in terms of results) against them isnt good

and the **** is in great form at the moment. as an attacking force they are ok (thats as good as i can bring myself to say)

however i think we are good enough to get a result against them. and hope we do. it is about time

I've been getting so annoyed over the Manc pox against us in recent seasons - totally undeserved 1-0 wins in succession - but on refelction, you gotta be fair, we gubbed them quite a few times like that under Houllier and Thommo.

Tight games with nothing in them and we scored first and choked the life out of them, so we've no choice but suck it up now that the boot is on the other foot. The luck sways from one side to the other and stays there for about 5/6 league games it seems. What goes around comes around.

But it's our turn soon and I hope to **** it's Sunday, or better still, in the Champions League.
