There seems to be a lot of our players in really confident mood ahead of the game. More so than usual and Rafa is sounding very confident too.


I think there's a real belief within the team that we can do Utd tommorow.

To a degree you would really have to question Rafa's management skills if he couldn't make the team confident after 7 straight wins. Still it is good to hear that everyone seems to be making sensible confident but not cocky comments.

We've got to stick with 4-2-3-1.

It's the best way of accommodating our best players. Gives us a fine balance between defence and attack - plus since we've used it we've been getting good results and had probably our best run of the season.

Torres & Gerrard look unstoppable. Defence is steady as ever. We have every reason to go into this with confidence. Got to play for the win - not to prevent United from winning. This is about what we can do rather than what United could do to us.

I'm confident(ish). Would be perfect to grab a 1st half goal. Not so we can sit back, so we can boost our confidence as we seem to have a mental block when it comes to playing them.

Give a good account of ourselves, show them Torres on his way to being the very best. They'll all need to be on their game, or near as damn it, our big players, our match winners especially.

I'm always nervous as hell when we play the Scummy Scum Sucking Scummers, so desperate to beat them, (but it's not our/my cup final, oh no), it's just such a fantastic feeling when we do. Houllier & Murphy gave a good account in their day.

Aye in an ideal world that would be great and it would give them a taste of there own medicine for robbing us at Anfield in the last couple of seasons but i'm thinking we never seem to play **** and win especially against United so i see no reason why that won't continue
