Just watched "Steven Gerrard: A Year in My Life"......

bit disappointed. Seemed to lack in substance.

Probably not helped it was shown here by ESPN and so was broken up by commercials every ten minutes or so.

Was it made by ESPN or some other Yanks? Seemed very basic and didn't seem to show Stevie interating much with the other players.

That said, seeing as I live in a cultural desert for all things Liverpool FC, it was good to be able to sit for 2 hours at prime time on a Wednesday night and watch something decent.

I guess it was shown a while ago in the UK.

    What did anyone else think?

It was made by sky i believe and yes it was a bit short on actual substance and it ran for just 1 hour here.

          Crikey!

We had it two one hour segments. So I watched one hour of $tevie Me and one hour of commercials.

My missus said: "He always looks miserable. Why?"

I told her: "'Cos he hasn't won the Premiership. Yet!"

It was made by Sky, which would explain the "lacking in substance" bit...I was struck by the fact that he seems a normal enough guy, and also appeared to be very happy at Liverpool. His missus came over quite well, but her "media whore tendencies" worry me, and - from what I've heard - the LFC coaching staff too.
