he was telling him to eff off all through the game you could clearly see it on the telly, silly sod. The ref was poor today but it was only a matter of time before he got sent off the way Mascher was carrying on, if he hadn't of done it then he it would've happened eventually anyway

What about Ashley Cole & his team mates on Wednesday night - that was WAY worse than the Mascher incident could ever be & only 1 yellow card was issued. Then the FA come out saying that punishment was already handed out to Cole so there is nothing they can do - bollocks!!! And I've seen Scum players do the same with nothing happening to them...

i thought masher was going to get himself sent off..........but only as a message to the rest of the EPL - dont **** with the refs. had he acted like that last week he would have had a ticking off and nothing more.

Mascherano was always gonna get sent off. Whether you agree with his first booking or not - he was on edge from the word 'Go'.

Agreed. He did look fired up from the start and from the moment of his first booking, it didn't look like he would see out the match.

The thing that annoys me is that Mascherano wasn't shouting, crowding or intimidating the referee. Players do that on a regular basis and nothing happens.

My opinion of the Mascherano incident: He should have kept out of it.

Had he been a SCUM player or a CHAV we'd all be singing the praises of the ref and revelling in the player's misfortune.

He was stupid, he got plenty of warnings, there's no excuse for not leaving the field once you're red carded.
