I was so made up when we signed harry kewell, i thought it was a bargain and he was going to be a great player for us. However, harry has had major bad luck with injuries and you can see in his face when a new injury occurs the frustration in his face and the dissappointment in some of the other players faces when he is forced off.

I think harry still has a role in football, but maybe not in the premiership, which is a shame.

Agreed. It will almost be a relief when he leaves.

A truly unfortunate set of circumstances have denied us the opportunity of seeing this once truly great player perform in our beloved red shirt. He did show glimpses of what he was all about but fate, it seems, has transpired against him here at Anfield.

Hope he has an Indian summer at his next club.

Don't have a problem with anyone who has lost patience with him, infact it appears even Rafa has, along with everyone but Harry himself. I took offence to your sly comments on his wage and inparticular his professionalism. I think your opinion is wrong and therefore pointed it out.

TBH it isnt even necessary, everyone knows his time here is finished and for me it is bye bye and good luck. Am I disappointed in his contribution over 5 years, YES, do I blame him, NO.
One small problem with the above comment - who would want him??? a lack of takers due to him being virtually registered disabled is the reason he's still on the payroll. Nothing to do with professionalism or effort whatsoever.

look mate, im not digging at harry but the situation remains that yes harry has been very unlucky with injury but in the 2 finals he played in he was mediocre at best, whether this was down to rustyness or his heart not being in it i dont know,or really care tbh.

i pointed out his wages as in a facts and figures world he has been a waste of money (a fit harry kewell imo could of become a real great) so there was no sly dig.

i never questioned his professionalism as i dont know the guy, only what i have seen, but if your baseing your opinion on the fact he didnt leave then tbf mate i doubt any takers were forming an orderly queue.

                lets agree to disagree mate
oh and i wish him well

i hope were not paying him while over ther or it would be a bit like getting your giro sent to you whilst on holiday.

tbf i do feel sorry for harry in a small way because he has been struck with lots of injuries BUT when he has come back he's looked like he cant be arsed, FA cup final? CL final? might as well not been there.

Fair enough. I have highlighted what I felt was unneccessary. Like I said I doubt very much Rafa would of given him so many chances if he wasn't arsed. Rafa has even mentioned what a good professional he is on more than one occassion.

Anyway hopefully this threads dies because it will only go one way now.
