Liverpool v Small Team Build-up Thread

Good news IMO as he always seems to play well against us

    Lifted from www.sportinglife.com

    ----------------------------------------------------------

Everton's Tim Cahill looks set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a reoccurrence of a long-standing foot injury.

Cahill was forced to leave the field after just 10 minutes in last Saturday's 1-1 draw against West Ham United.

The attacking midfielder then missed Australia's midweek international China.

And there are now fears that Cahill has aggravated a metatarsal fracture he suffered last March.

The 28-year-old has been in impressive form since he returned from his troublesome injury last November, netting 10 goals for David Moyes' side.

But Cahill is now set to miss the rest of the campaign, starting with the Toffees' key clash against rivals Liverpool.

Think they are without Yobo as well, so that will mean Jagielka in the center of defence. Can only be good for us.

Torres will play i hear yes, or is that just expected to play. But yes Cahill is a big miss for them, probably the player i'd choose them to be without if i could. (maybe Yakubu).

Please let it be good for us, such an important game, if we can stay ahead of them past our Arsenal game, (Prem), then i think they will be into some tough fixtures of their own, if my memory of the run in is near correct..

          Their run-in:

          Code:
          Home Away

          Us	*v*	Everton
          Everton	*v*	Derby
          Brum	*v*	Everton
          Everton	*v*	Chelsea
          Everton	*v*	Aston Villa
          Arsenal	*v*	Everton
          Everton	*v*	Newcastle
Chelsea, Arsenal & Villa are tough tough games for them.

          In contrast we have:

          Code:
          Home Away
          Liverpool	*v*	Everton
          Arsenal *v*	Liverpool
          Liverpool	*v*	Blackburn
          Fulham *v*	Liverpool
          Birmingham	*v*	Liverpool
          Liverpool	*v*	Man City
          Tottenham	*v*	Liverpool
We definitely have the easier time of it.
