I only tells you what I have heard. DIC won't run us with a profit. They will run us in a way that will suit the DIC and Dubai brand and that means that they will spend to take us back to the top and stay there.
Being number two isn't good enough in a long way for them, only number one is good enough.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think they said it at least 20 times in the clip about DIC and Dubai that was posted in one of the big DIC threads. It's the one that they explain how Dubai will look in 15+ years time from now.Originally posted by Darkon View PostMight be, I have just never seen it written anywhere... I certaintly isen't on their website. Where have you seen DIC state this, and not least in regards to LFC??Just believe and you never know what will happen.

Coco the clown speaks.. looks like it's coming to a head.
Parry wants quick end to Reds saga
Rick Parry believes Liverpool's ownership saga is coming "to a head" and must now be resolved by the American co-owners as quickly as possible.
George Gillett revealed in an interview this week that his relationship with Tom Hicks had long since broken down, and Parry admits that he sees no way in which they can carry on as a partnership.
With Dubai International Capital reportedly keen to launch a full takeover of the Anfield club, Hicks has so far refused to do business unless he can retain a controlling share, while Gillett appears more amenable - claiming DIC would be "responsible" owners.
But whatever happens, Parry has called for matters to move quickly.
"I think it brings it to a head - clearly for the good of the club from where I sit," the Reds' chief executive told BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme.
"The hope will be that it's resolved quickly now, it's dragged on for long enough and the ideal would be to move to as speedy a resolution as possible."
Parry added: "All things are possible at the moment - somebody's got to sell, that's clear. If they're not able to co-exist then there needs to be a solution where one buys and one sells, or both sell.
"There aren't too many other possibilities but it's pretty clear that to carry on with the status quo is going to be extremely difficult."

Parry making those sort of comments publicly are very significant. Although he is stating the obvious its very unusual for him to make public comment on the ownership issue"I watched the Champions League quarter-finals and the way they crushed Arsenal. Only the greatest and the best can play such a match.

Just listened to the interview on the 5live website, He sounded pretty upbeat, very much on Gillet's side, I get the feeling Giilet being in London this week is more about sorting it all out than the football, Parry sort of alluded to things getting sorted in a week.
The host said he heard from 'decent sources'
that Gillet selling to DIC is almost signed and sealed. Parry said to that 'we will see'.
I'm hopeful

Fair enough it is in a video about construction possibilities in Dubai, but that does not mean it will be like that with LFC. It only gives me optimism as far as the stadium goes, if they get a say...Originally posted by AFII View PostI think they said it at least 20 times in the clip about DIC and Dubai that was posted in one of the big DIC threads. There is nothing in DIC statements that point to a huge spending spree at liverpool. So far they have only said that they want to invest in the club, and it will be run like any other investment branch. That in my head means they will make sure it runs on a profit - they wan't to bring money in to dubai not the other way round...

Find me an investment from DIC or something from Sheikh Mohammed where they have NOT gone for it big time - then start questionning them.Originally posted by Darkon View PostFair enough it is in a video about construction possibilities in Dubai, but that does not mean it will be like that with LFC. If you can, it shows that they are a pretty ****e investment company for the benefit of Dubai...

Just listened to and would recommend that all who are interested do the same. Parry makes a number of telling comments about the situation including that there is no chance of things being patched up between G and H. Also said he is hopeful something will happen this week so maybe G in addition to coming to watch the Arsenal game is going to conclude a deal. Parry was certainly pro Gillette. One of the interviewers said that a source of his told him the deal was all by signed off on!Originally posted by Kev_81 View Post
