Think Arse winning is good news for us. Them being out of the league is possibly the worst thing that could happen with the CL fixtures coming up. Hopefully Scum drop pts this afternoon/early evening to VIlla (unlikely i know).

Don't think it will affect us that much. the run we were on should still keep us confident, plus there is no way the team wont be up for everton. a win tomorrow will set us up very nicely for the arsenal triple header. think we'll have them in the league game for sure.

I am worried about arsenal coz it was embarrassing at times at anfield earlier in the season, they totally passed us off the park. IMO they have more attacking threat than us and i can see us just playing the ball to Torres and expecting him to win the game. Gerrard and the likes need to get the finger out and influence our attacking tempo and have more belief!

i thought the 1st 20 mins or so of the utd game was a pretty even affair and a game that most of the team looked up for. as for the arse game earlier in season, i thought that was a good performance by us. sure they had some good possesion and at times they passed us off the pitch, but if remember right we had some good possesion too and at time over ran them. if we'd had torres firing on all cylinders back then and gerard playing well too i beleive we had the beating of them. i just cant see anything other than a 2-0 or 2-1 win over everton, specially since they have lost their main man in cahill. i also see us getting 1 win and 2 draws against the arse.

Would we? I'd rather we beat them, then had 4th sewn up early so we can play a weakened team in the last couple of league games and concentrate on the CL, instead of leaving it in the balance and having to play our best team in every game the rest of the season. I think everyone on here would rather Arsenal won the league, but not at the expense of us coming 4th

Watch and see. I bet you that Rafa plays our strongest possible line-ups in the champions league ties but rests players for the league game at Emirates. He will know the importance of tiring Arsenal out whilst keeping our key men fresh.
