Luis is a bit of a show pony alright - He was yp for this game tonight and very hungry for a goal - I would hate to see him leave - when he's on form there is few better than him

Watching the highlights it looked like Luis had a good game but I was rather weary that I wasn't seeing his usual frustrating stuff due to not being there. Seems my fears were unfounded. Keep it going little fella.

Other than the Alonso wonder goal - my two highlights were both provided by Lil Luis.

Firstly, he broke down the left in the second half, and drew three defenders towards him as he was by the edge of the area, and then somehow (and he had no right to be able to do this!) he managed to find the space to pick the pass to the on-running Kuyt who should have slotted it into the corner. Pure magic from Garcia.

Second piece of magic was the take down and shot for the Gerrard pass in the second half, excellent two touches and so unlucky that it hit the post.
