Chris Bascombe is the best journalist ever. He adds width to his columns (reports, etc.) and is also joking around a little bit.

      I really liked these

"They paid £10m for Obafemi Martins instead, and few will argue with such wisdom on the basis of last night, apart from the fact the Liverpool man scored and played well, and the Newcastle forward did neither."

"The Geordies rarely refuse to squeeze those bellies through the turnstiles, and never fail to leave 90 minutes later having seen a completely different game to the rest of the football world."

"Five-nil would not have flattered Liverpool, while Newcastle's efforts amounted to a trio of penalty claims in the first ten minutes of the second half, none of which compared favourably with Celestine Babayaro's unpunished attempt to catch the ball in front of The Kop."

"Liverpool have been threatening to dish out a severe beating. Newcastle only avoided that fate thanks to generous finishing and the absence of Titus Bramble."

      LMAO!

PS: What do you think Dunk's mood was last night? Mixed feelings or totally depressed?

          The best journalist ever?!?!

I do like his pieces though, especially his match reports.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Reina - 7 Solid display but in truth didn't have that much to do.
Finnan - 7 Usual performance from Mr Dependable. Got forward well for the 1st goal.
Carra - 7 A relatively easy night for our defence & Carra didn't have to break sweat for the most part.
Agger - 7 Was a bit clumsy for their 1st penalty appeal but againlooked the part
Aurelio - 6 Looked a bit dodgy defensively at times & didn't make the most of the ball when he got forward.
SG - 6. looked off the pace to me & didn't appear 100% happy all night.
Momo - 7 Another good spoiling display in the middle of the park although as ever his 1st touch & passing let him down at times.
Alonso - 9. Simply brilliant pass for the 1st goal & another long range exocet for the 2nd. Top class performer pure & simple.
Garcia - 7. Usual mix & match performance from my favourite player. Wasteful at times, simply brilliant effort when he hit the post.
Bellamy 5. - pretty poor effort tonight. Should have scored when clean through but for some reason looks badly short of confidence.
Kuyt - 7. Tireless worker who led the line well. Scored one but missed 2 golden chances. You can't help but like him but I'm a bit concerned about his finishing. In the last 2 matches he's wasted 2 great chances in each game.
