Thanjk you.

Said that for a long time. He's an excellent left back. If he didn't have that much injuries he would have been a mainstay there. Steady player and excellent with the ball. Can whip in a good cross too. We need more players like. Think he got a bad injury in the end though. Any news on that ?
Whats the reason though. Is the delivery poor or are we just not adept at attacking the balls into the box. I think the latter. Thoughts?
At the defensive bit we don't have any player(s) standing at the half way line and that means that the opponent can attack with more players.
The attacking bit is probably down to that we don't have that many players that is good in the air in the attacking box.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
I understand the optimism here and I don’t think we will allow them to dominate possession like that again, but I am sure that they will score at Anfield so we will be required to get at least 2. All this talk about a great performance is wrong in my opinion we got our away goal and clung on for dear life. Arsenal will be disappointed by the result but will also be confident about getting at least a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
1-1 away in europe is a decent result but by the response on here I would think we had won 2-0.
I am by no means a pessimist but I think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves. I believe this result puts us in a very difficult position, if we had been playing a foreign team I would be more optimistic but I think Arsenal will come to Anfield confident of getting the away goal to cancel out ours and that they will get another one.
I am pleased with the result but to say we were fantastic is deluded in my opinion, which is backed up by the match statistics. I do not think we managed to stamp any authority on the game and were more reliant on them wasting chances than anything else.

Maybe he was carrying an injury, because Rafa said he rested him against Everton to protect him. I really hope his is OK because he is light years ahead of Riise.

Agreed, but we have an advantage & that is enough to send me to bed happy & that's all I'm gonna think about.

He got a knock right at the end on the left touch line deep in Arsenal's half. Think you all caught that up. He seemed to struggle.

Good point, never though of that. I'm amazed we don't leave someone on the half way especially given how good Reina is at setting up counter attacks.
I remember, I think during their unbeaten season, that Arsenal scored more goals from their opponents corners than they did their own. We should be like that especially as we have some serious pace now.
